Austin Chinese-American Network (ACAN) has organized  a group of young students to 3D print or hand make face shields for HCWs all over Texas, and in far away places like Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Cleveland Clinic. So far, the kids have made -1000 FS and donated 680.  While it seems the face mask shortage issue is starting to ease, secondary protection equipment such as face shields are still in high demand and in shortage.
